Grand-Adventures.com

I founded Grand-Adventures.com in April, 2005 after trying to find a good tour to the Grand Canyon.  I walked the Strip, called a bunch of tour brokers, and found myself sorting through a bunch of tours that offered nothing different then price.  They all had the same itinerary and seemed to waste more time getting to the Grand Canyon then they did at the Grand Canyon.  The Grand Canyon – for me – wasn’t about a buffet, IMAX movie, or valuble prize.  It was about seeing the Grand Canyon and I just couldn’t find that.

I quit my job with Flagstar Bank (which is an awesome company and every one of you should do your mortgage through them!) and started doing tours.  My basic philosophy and approach to designing the tours focused on asking, “How would I show my friends the Grand Canyon if we only had one day to see it?”  I decided that I’d treat everyone like my friends.  I’m hoping today that what I’ve built is exactly what you are looking for and look forward to opening up this forum so that we can all talk and discuss everythign Grand Canyon.

  2. We went on the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour on June 15th. Our fearless leader was George, and what a great trip it was. We knew when we got into the van that this was going to be a wonderful day. The weather, the laughs, Aunt Moe’s funny questions it was a wonderful memory and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you again. It was the BEST TIME and we will re book for next year!

  4. Since getting married in August 2008, my husband and I have never gotten the chance to take a honeymoon due to hectic schedules. Planning a trip to Vegas this April and after reading all the reviews of your company, we thought what better way to celebrate than seeing the sunset over the Grand Canyon! Will be making our tour reservations soon and can’t wait!

  5. Darryl,
WOW!!! Great trip. I just finished the Sunset Tour (26 Jan 2010). It was wonderful. The trip exceeded my expectations. Our guide Alfonso…the best. His knowledge of Vegas, Grand Canyon, geology, and history was excellent. He certainly enjoys his job. I will recommend your company to everyone I can.
Take care my new found friends…I will return…soon!!!

  6. We took the Grand Canyon tour on Monday April 20, 2010 and would do it again and again. Julio was fantastic guide, though we renamed him Juan during the trip. Beautiful sites, very informative and small group to add to the pleasure. Everyone should take the tour, though it is a long trip and long day, it is worth it.

We are passing along our praise to friends.

  7. Hi everyone..We were 6 french Canadian(all women:))) taking the sunset tour on august 11th,2011 with Alfonso.(he speeks french)…Alfonso YOU ARE THE BEST. What a nice guy, you made us feel like we’ve known eachother for so long, and man to you know your stuff. Just incredible all the information you gave us. Your knowledge about Las Vegas, about the grand Canyon, the history of all what we’ve seen was just AWESOME. You made the tour a day to remember for ever. We will see eachother in 2 years, cause I’m planning to go back with my husband and a couple of friends. So can’t wait to see you again for that wonderful sunset tour.

  9. We just did the Grand Canyon sunset tour last night with Brett. It was awesome, his knowledge of the areas we visited was fantastic. I learned a lot. The ride was enjoyable. The tour was cool, he knows the best photo ops & cares about the people he brings. We had a slight snafu with a french guy but he handled it with calmness & finesse. Thanks for a wonderful trip & memory.
