I founded Grand-Adventures.com in April, 2005 after trying to find a good tour to the Grand Canyon. I walked the Strip, called a bunch of tour brokers, and found myself sorting through a bunch of tours that offered nothing different then price. They all had the same itinerary and seemed to waste more time getting to the Grand Canyon then they did at the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon – for me – wasn’t about a buffet, IMAX movie, or valuble prize. It was about seeing the Grand Canyon and I just couldn’t find that.
I quit my job with Flagstar Bank (which is an awesome company and every one of you should do your mortgage through them!) and started doing tours. My basic philosophy and approach to designing the tours focused on asking, “How would I show my friends the Grand Canyon if we only had one day to see it?” I decided that I’d treat everyone like my friends. I’m hoping today that what I’ve built is exactly what you are looking for and look forward to opening up this forum so that we can all talk and discuss everythign Grand Canyon.
Hi Darryl, Gosh, We have 2 and a half months to go before we get to Vegas (from Downunder) but I have already heard so many good things about your tour that we can’t wait. Looking forward to our trip.

We went on the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour on June 15th. Our fearless leader was George, and what a great trip it was. We knew when we got into the van that this was going to be a wonderful day. The weather, the laughs, Aunt Moe’s funny questions it was a wonderful memory and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you again. It was the BEST TIME and we will re book for next year!
